From the moment onward I started to pioneer for Digital Leadership to be understood as an identity and not a skill. Fast forward to 2025 and the world has changed dramatically - and is about to change beyond what our imaginations can fathom. During the last decade I have seen leaders like you become more anxious, overwhelmed and confused about who they should be as well as what they should do. Now with the era of AI upon us that’s even more palpable. I spend most of my time now mentoring leaders and entrepreneurs and speaking about a New Leadership Way that means we can thrive in our professional life as well as in our personal life.
That’s where Digital Leadership 2.0 comes in. Not only are you trying to grapple with things like AI in strategy and practice, you are also having to the compromise personal fulfilment for professional success. I don’t believe this is a trade off. I believe we can have it all. I believe we can become competent in leveraging digital as it emerges to thrive in business and in life. Digital Leadership 2.0 helps you do just that. It is a mindset rewire and a practice upgrade.
This is the place where we talk a bit about ourselves!
Adapt2Digital was born in 2013. Originally we were here to consult on digital strategy. However, that all changed pretty fast when I ((Mel) that’s a picture of me to the right!) was constantly being tapped on the shoulder by CEO’s, Digital Officers etc and asked this “Mel, love what you are saying in the room, but how does this relate to me? How can I bring this stuff into my own practice to understand it more?
Boom! That’s when my life and the business changed forever. I realised that Digital Leadership was only seen as a measure of technology maturity in the business or technology expertise in the leader. The human element was missing and so was the question: If this is what I need to do as a leader, who do I need to be to achieve that?
